Well for starters I suggest "Smoke on the Water" by Deep Purple, you could also focus on certain riffs or chord progressions (usually the most catchy part of the song) such as "Iron Man" by Black Sabbath or "La Grange" by ZZ Top or also, "Wake Me Up When September Ends" by Green Day.
Crash Into Me by Dave Matthews is pretty easy. Also Jane Says by Jane's Addiction is just two chords.. G and A.

depends on what kind of music u like.
when i first started playing guitar, green day was good. they're pretty simple to play, and sound good once u can play them. most of their songs are basic power chords.
