D.O.C. could have went further in his career, but he wouldn't have been Snoop. I had "Funky Enough" from DOC and it was a hot song. I also got his album that came out in the mid-90's, post car accident. I think I liked 3 songs? It was just too hard to listen to with his voice.
Snoop is more laid back and smooth, appealed to a much broader audience. DOC was more of that hardcore Ice Cube vibe.
Replace Snoop? No.. But had a bigger career with Dre? Yes.

the thing is, even if Dre' wouldn't have picked him up, I actually read that Snoop knew Kurrupt before he went big, and Daz Is related to snoop.all those guy's are pretty good rappers, if ONE of them would have been found they all would probably have gotten big (like they did)
The D.O.C was tight! I think Snoop has too much talent to never have been discovered.
i don't think it would have changed the fact that Snoop became a huge MC, but it would have meant more dope music from DOC
and by the way, Snoop is really a gentleman with the ladies, not at all like on TV

You might have a point there. The D.O.C. was way better than Snoop (in my opinion). I used to LOVE Snoop, but over the past 5 yrs or so, he's lost his appeal. I just can't get into him like I used to.
The DOC taught Snoop how to write in versus. The would've been passing the mic back and forth like a joint.
D.O.C. was dope as hell. That man's flow was much tighter than Snoop, I def think he would have out shined Snoop in the long run.
