Yes. Mine is a turntable that came from the production room of a small radio station that went out of business a few years ago. I have it rigged through my mixing board with my two CD players, so I can mix records and CDs to tapes and make it sound just like the radio. I can get needles through Radio Shack, but they nave to order them.
Every once in a while. Records just have a distinct sound. It makes them very unique, even though audio-philes complain about it being low quality and sounding horrid.
Yes, we still play our records from time to time. My husband has a huge collection & I have a few. There's something about hearing them in their "poppy" state- we love it!
No, unfortunately I don't have mine anymore. So sad because I have some great LP's stored away.

My record player died around 12 months since,so I got a USB turntable and converting vinyl to CD. Still play and listen with the USB turntable,but the sound level isn't as good
you bet your sweet corn i do! i have three, one i don't get to spin alot cause it's out in the garage, but the other two...
YEE-YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAW! i play the grooves off my records sometimes..i love the "cracklin" sound...such sweet memories too! i try and set aside wensenday as 'RECORD" day i'm not too busy on that day and i clean house and do laundry, so this also keeps me updated on who sang what and when someone ask about certain songs like you do, i pretty much can go right to it and find the answer.
oh yes i sure do-i play my records all the time-i cannot stand to even see a radio anymore these days, i hear what i want, and not what some stiff collar forces me to listen to.
I probably play my records more than compact discs. I have hundreds.
Yes, I still have my parents! My children and the neighbourhood kids are totally fascinated by it! I've showed them how it works. I also inherited all their record albums (75 & 45).
