Steve Perry from 'Journey'?!
Question: I saw the video for USA for Africa the other day and noticed Steve Perry helping out with some vocals. Journey never did anything in UK and aren't really well known.
Are they still popular in the US and are they still together???

A few years ago, the Chicago White Sox won the World Series and Journey's hit "Don't stop believing" was their theme throughout the playoffs. It became so popular that Perry was interviewed on sports shows and was at the victory celebration in Chicago. He looked happy as hell on ESPN and was honored that this song played a part in helping inspire the team. Though Journey still exists, Perry is no longer with them and has no plans to return since 1998.
not popular here that I know of anymore, I think they might do some small tour stuff still though
I love that song they done it was on the film 'Monster' superb. I read the other day that Steve Perry has throat cancer. If u go on youtube you can see clips of a live show that was done in Glasgow i think it was this year sometime but not 100% sure however it is not Steve Perry singing.

They are not still together. Steve Perry had a falling out with the rest of the band so I don't think there ever will be a reunion. He has an amazing voice though!
