Sounds like Roy Clark.

i went to the site but i don't understand how it works.

The great guitarist, Chet Atkins CGP!

I love his hybrid fingerpicking on that Gretch Country Gentleman!

CGP= certified guitar player, his own title.

I can think of two it might be.
Buck Ownes or Ricky Skaggs

The tune has got to be Guitar Boogie Shuffle.

It's probably been recorded 50 times by 50 different guitarists. I do know the some is quite old as my "folks" (both well into their 80's) had the tune on a 78 RPM record when I was just a kid and I'm a month away from my 60th. birthday (ouch !!)

One of the best renditions I ever heard was performed live in Nashville by Brent Mason - to my knowledge, Brent's version was never recorded or released.

I thought it might be Arthur "Guitar Boogie" Smith, but he goes way back and I don't know if he is still alive, let alone performing.

You may have to download an active-x control to play the clip, you should get a message if you need one.
