I was thinking "Wichita Lineman" but that's Kansas

he only thing I can think of is Oklahoma Hills but I remember it by Hank Thomson

I've looked through his entire discography and no title jumps out as about just Oklahoma.

There's a link below of his ENTIRE discography, complete with album covers and no pop-ups. Great work. Hope it brings back memories like it did for me.

I remember one about southern Kansas though....

Glen Campbell - Wichita Lineman (1968)

Are you sure it's by him. I can' find it listed for him.

Wichita Lineman was written by Jimmy Webb, a native of Oklahoma. He was referring to the Wichita Mountains in southern Oklahoma which are named after the Wichita tribe originally from Kansas but relocated to Oklahoma after the Civil War.

"By the time I get to Phoenix" is the song you're looking for!
