It's midnight in Montgomery ...........?!

Question: and your passing through minding your own buisness and listening to one of your favorite songs on the radio, when all of a sudden just outside of town you see a drunk man in cowboy hat wearing shiney boots and a Nudie suit walking down a lonely road next to and old cemetary. So you stop to pick him up, Just as he gets in, Your radio goes out...You hit the dash and it comes back on...but this time you notice something diffrent...a song comes on "I,m so lonesome i could cry" starts playing... you think to yourself "This is odd, I had it on a rock station awhile ago" you look over at the Cowboy who just got in and notice something about him....Something thats about to change your life forever... What is it?

and I know there are some of you asking.."Whats this got to do with country"? So! for you...Who sang the song "Midnite in Montgomery" and what year was it released?

great song...anybody that has an ounce of real countrymusic running through their veins should know that it ALAN JACKSON...NOT THE BARFF MAN BROOKS!

Tim McGraw does a good remix version of it with Real Good Man.

To answer the question Alan Jackson.. early 90's??

The link will have the info you need, it is an Alan Jackson song

Alan Jackson
1991

Midnight In Montgomery was released in 1992 from Alan Jackson's "Don't Rock The Jukebox" cd. It was a song about Hank Williams Sr & some of the lyrics within the song were also in Hank's songs.

This was one of Alan's better songs... Heard it on the radio the other day and enjoyed it again for the first time in a long time...

I have this song by Alan Jackson from 1991 off the "Dont Rock The Jukebox" album.

Alan Jackson, from his 1991 CD "Don't Rock the Jukebox".

I have the CD - it's an excellent song.

it is sung by alan jackson in the year 1995.

its alan jackson, and its about the best country singer of all time....... MR. HANK WILLIAMS

One of the biggest thrills of my life is to sing that song, for about 350 cowboys and their dancing partners during a monster karaoke on a HUGE dance floor, in Sam's Town Casino in Henderson, NV when I was on leave in 1996 from the Navy. It was a great moment for me. I sure hope Hank Sr. thinks I gave it justice. I normally also sing rock and blues, so I'm hoping it was special.
