Yes. I am huge in to old country. He is not one of my favorites but i own a couple of albums. his most famous song that has been redone over and over is Me and Bobby McGee which is also the title of one of his cds.

Narvel the Marvel was from the state of Missouri. He had several country hits during the 1970s including: Lonely Teardrops, Pink and Black Days, Drift Away and Reconsider Me.
