akon in this song repents for what he has done to all his loved ones.he was stealing cars when his father left his mother.the police arrested him which in turn gave pain to his mother.later in his life he also did hurt his girlfriend and also made her cry.it's a beautiful song which is true in most pop/rockstar's life....
its just that he want to repent for the lyrics that he made so far in his previous songs....
it means he is admiting to what he did wrong to his girl and he is saying I am sorry but the blame on me.because I know what i did.. basically that.
Akon was in a club in the Caribbean & I think that he did some really "dirty dancing" with a girl. It turns out she was underage & was the daughter of some kind of politician. He didn't know she was underage but took responsibility for the incident.
