It's a cover of a song by the Canadian singer-songwriter Leonard Cohen. It was on his 1969 album Songs from a Room. I know the Aaron Neville version was in that Mel Gibon/Goldie Hawn movie Bird on a Wire. Maybe it's on the soundtrack.
