try ejay hip hop 4 super easy and they sound ausome
i know with the mac there is a program called garage band but i dont think there is a version for windows though
I've heard FL Studio is the easiest. Basic studio quality, but easiest to learn.
You can download a demo on their website to see if it's for you. The demo is free, but if you want to buy a full version, there are different ones:
Express Edition - $49 (I wouldn't recommend it, since you won't get a lot of features)
Fruityloops Edition - $99 (basically "entry-level" features)
Producer Edition - $149
Reason is also good, but I've heard it's a little harder to learn
gitar hero lol =b
the easiest will probably be some crappy website that gives you 3 different selections. But i recommend Propellerhead's Reason for hip/hop and electronica..it takes a bit of training but you'll understand the jist of it in a few hours
fl is pretty good
if you have a keyboard tho, try expirimenting with logic or reason tho - good balance of quality and price
You have a lots of choices that are good, but basically they require money (unless u pirate it :D)
1. Propellerhead Reasons - This is awesome, but it's very hard to use and is for professional musicians so be careful if you try it, Play Radio Play is a band that uses this, so check them out.
2. Adobe Audition - It's good for mixing, not for beat making, but u can make beats on it. This is basically garagebands lol.
3. Fruity Loops - This is the best i've seen so far, a lot of underground DJ use this to remix and reflex songs
4. Mixmeister 6 - This is okay, still not very experienced with it but u can try it out.
Fruity loops is a pain but if you can figure it out and your system doesn't do wierd stuff i.e. crash or freeze--your in--I've worked with it plenty but it can be a pain learning and if you get the wrong version and your system requirements aree in question.
If all you want is a beat then search for a desktop metronome thru google. They can be found free of cost also...
I use that as a program and enjoy being able to change the beat at a single click...
You might also want to check your audio card program folder if you have one outside your motherboard as many cards have rythmn programs added. I use Creative Labs Awe 64 and it has no limits for music composition with any instrument. It even can change the beat but requires a few clicks to do so and that is why I use a metronome program separately... I also use a keyboard for further assist some times...
Good luck...
Ejay is madd easy!!
all u gotta do is add a little sound piece over and over
Fruity loops is easy too
