its just never the place to be anymore instead we get loaded with girls aloud tours every other week

I think you'll find it's Stewart not Stuart and Copeland not Copland, and I think you are. Report It

  • Yes i do....

blame the managers they book the venues. they go where the money is.

    YES

americans have more money an more people so they will go there to get more profit instead of playin to there english fans

Ok during their reign in the 80s they were big in the USA and made the bulk of their success in the US although they had a large fan base over here, but you play to your strength

I think they're pretty big in America ~ and they actually started the tour in Vancouver.

    Also, isn't their record label ~ A&M ~ American?

    Edit :~

They played two gigs in London last week, and they'll be in Manchester in summer 2008.

Starting in the US has probably given a chance to get some good reviews out, and make people more excited about seeing them when they reach the UK.

Well, they are only 66.6% British.... and they did sell a crapload of records in the States... and that's where all the money is....so, I'm guessing those'd be the reasons....

I'm pretty happy they are touring the United States!

i would stop supporting them if they treat british fans with such contempt

Thats kinda like saying Metallica shouldnt tour in the UK since they are an American band.

Well they don't need the money for the Police pension fund.

Maybe they had more hits in America, or maybe they're gonna finish in UK

    British band?
I think you'll find the drummer, Stewart Copeland is American.

I saw The Police at Twickenham stadium in sept, far as I know they did start here first before going to states.
