No they are not related. T.G's real name is William Browder. Jean was married to Hawkshaw Hawkins before his tragic death in the same plane crash that took the lives of Cowboy Copas and Patsy Cline. She has been a member of the Grand Ole Opry for 50 years.
i don't believe so, the last names are spelled different..shepard-sheppard..i think? i've never heard of a connection and i don't think that's tg's birth name..it's william something?
