Hamer makes decent instruments. "Sunburst" is actually the type of finish on the axe and not designative of the model. Do some homework on the type of pickups used for this puppy; THAT will determine whether or not you should go with it. (Hint: you're looking for a "hot" pickup or something established for metal).
