Title and artist help please!?!
Question: I heard a song a few weeks ago. The DJ didn't say the name or artist. The lyrics I remember are
"You don't love me anymore anyway and I don't care." I KNOW that particular line goes exactly like that.
It goes on to say something about quitting cigarettes and getting a haircut..
I don't know if it is an old or new song, just that I have never heard it before. The vocalist is MALE and the song is pretty upbeat, with a mocking tone to it. I do not recognize the singer, so I don't think it's anyone who is popular right now.
I have searched the lyrics on Google and through a whole bunch of lyrics sites to no avail. Does anyone recognize these lyrics?
I have asked this question in lyrics and in Country, as I am not really sure what genre it is. If you answer, PLEASE remember the following : It's a guy that sings it, though it's not Phil Collins, Tim McGraw, or Joe Nichols. The line I remember is EXACTLY is typed.

Sorry, I looked all over, I couldn't find anything either.
When you said "mocking" I thought of Weird Al Yankovic, Because those lyrics match phil collins sorta and weird al re-does songs. I attached the link. Just in case, but I dont think it is what you are looking for. Cledus T. Judd-he also redoes songs, so maybe it is him- I couldnt find it though.
My only other suggestion is try to call the radio station and ask them. They might know- also a lot of stations keep their last 10 songs they played posted on their website, so next time that happens-you might want to check that out if you can get to the computer.

Could it be a parody of a real song? I know one artist who does parodies of real country songs. Examples include "Please Take the Girl" (parody of "Don't Take the Girl", by Tim McGraw), ""Don't Mess with America" (parody of "Only in America", by Brooks and Dunn), and "Goodbye Squirrel" (parody of the Dixie Chicks song "Goodbye Earl"). The singer's name is Cledus T Judd. You might check if it's a song he does.
