Is Rammstein Gothic Metal?!
Question: I don't think they are gothic, bcause they dob't dress in black that much, so I think they are much more of heavy metal and rock than gothic style. Their music its heavy and not sad and it doesn't gives you the feeling of shadows, like gothics as the rasmus give you. So I say they are heavy metal dudes. No, they're more heavy metal i'd say. Gothic metal is more around the Cradle of filth area. Dimmu borgir is nothing like Rammstein, Dimmu are more melodic black metal.
They are not goth metal
I consider them more metal metal than Gothic metal. When I think of Gothic metal I think of folks like Dimmu Borgir. :)

Yes, songs they have say things like Du Has Visch which translates into you hate me, so I would consider that Gothic Metal.
More like industrial metal. There is nothing particularly Gothic about them. I consider them to be a lesser version of KMFDM.
Rammstein started off as Industrial Metal but they are just pretty much metal nowadays & are fantastically awesome , if you want to listen to Gothic Metal , i reccommend Nightwish
Not really, they just sing in German. Actually their lyrics are kind of mundane...sounds good though!
Rammstein is techno-metal. His voice is artificially lowered to give it that growly, dangerous quality. It is very intelligent though. I can respect that.

They're "Tanz-metall" - dance metal. Basically, they're what happens when you equip ravers with guitars - or is it metalheads with synthesizers?
