Question: a lot of my frinds like afi but i'm a littel sencetive about my music in other words i dont like to listen to crap!!!

it all depends on what you're into.
i bough a pirate copy of decemberunderground overseas to see what they were like.
the album is okay but i got sick of it easily. after a while it all sounds the same.
i've heard they're old stuff is better, so maybe you should give that a try.

AFI is awesome!!!! Loved them from the start^_^...
not my style, but certainly more respectable than those absurd bands on the mtv countdowns

AFI rocks! They are awesome! I like every AFI song that I've heard.
If you don't know whether or not to buy an AFI CD, borrow one of your friends' CDs and listen to it. If you like it then buy it!!
AFI is hardcore punk, by the way, but if you prefer more dancy stuff, listen to Blaqk Audio (Davey the singer and Jade the guitarist's side project) or if you like more R'n'B, try Hunter Revenge (Hunter the bassist's solo project).
AFI is not crap. That term is saved for artists/bands who cannot sing or play instruments half as good as AFI.
I think you should decide for yourself whether or not you like AFI. What we think won't really change your views on the band. So take some time out, and listen to some AFI!
Well,they're an awesome band.already bought sing the sorrow and decemberunderground.but sing the sorrow will always be my favorite especially 'silver and cold','the leaving song pt. 2' and '...but home is nowhere'.i suggest you to download some of their single since you afraid you might get upset when you buy it.well i recommend you to hear miss murder,love like winter,summer shudder,silver and cold,the leaving song pt 2.
since your friend go for hardcore,why don't you try metalcore,emocore genre.try atreyu- lip gloss and black

QUITE Lame. Hell, you'd be better off with Fallout Boy...and for me to say that makes me cringe.

their first EP All Hallows was awsome and worth a buy and apparently their first full album is the same kindas music, but iv not heard it. im not fond of their later albums (decemberunderground) cos i dont like pop music, but if you like punk i would advise the first EP
I've heard a few of their songs that I liked, but you might wanna listen to them on google or something before you buy one of their albums.
Their 90's stuff was good Post-Punk, this millennium however they suck!
