Wen will Green Day release a new album???!
Question: Its been like forever since they came out with American Idiot on Madden 05 and the subsequent release of the album by the same name. Is it true they are making a new punk music album next year? Will it have rock too?

their alnum is supposed to come out in 2008 but they are still working on it!

It's a work in progress - their currently recording it and I think it's due for release sometime 2008.
I don't know the date but I know the year is 2008. It is a very long silent time because they want it to be the best album they ever produced. I hope it will be good.
Green day said in an interview-
They have got soo many worthwile songs they can bring out 3 WHOLE albums. But they want to record and make sure the follow-up to American Idiot is brilliant.
