How did Fogerty come up with the name 'Credence Clearwater'?!

The band took its name from Credence Nuball, a friend of Tom Fogerty; "clearwater", a reference to the band's concern for ecology (from a beer commercial of the day); and "revival", which spoke to the four members' re-commitment to their band.
Credence came from John's solid belief in the band and what he was trying to do..Clearwater was the name of a holiday spot where their parents used to take them in summer..northern California,I think and Revival was a'word' of intent of the band..no hippy jamming for them.
