Guitar trouble! Plz help = 10 pnts.?!
Question: I play guitar and I HATE using the little pics. Almsot everyone, (different sizes) always slip out of my fingers. I can't hold them for very long, and they are slippery to me. What could I do to make it more easier? Anything I could use besides a pic to strum? (Can't do it with my fingers alone!)

there are lots of different pick styles, some with VERY grippy surfaces- either deeply-ridged designs or certain materials that are non-slip. Keep experimenting- picks are cheap! And the more you practice, the more your fingers will 'train' themselves to keep ahold of the pick.
you can get pics with rings, so they dont fall off. Just ask your local guitar shop owner.
Get a bigger pick...they make HUGE guitar picks.
And why can't you use just your fingers? that is the best way ; get somebody to show you how to do it.
Watch a flamenco guitarist and see how they use their hands.
get a thumb pick, I always get the ones that are real thin.
Go to your local music store and by a bunch of picks with different gauges and try them out, you could also try those ring shaped picks, personally i cant stand them,,,too awkward. Then again it may not be a pick problem, you might wanna try to get a more firm grip of the pick and maybe soften your strokes.
Try the medium - slight thin gauge pick, that works for me.
They make bigger ones out of different material you know. Just look at a music store....maybe where you got your guitar
