Why do all these teenagers like those no-talent emos?!
Question: Bands like Fall Out Boy, My Chemical Romance, and Panic! at the Disco... I actually listened to some of their songs and I just wanted to throw up... *THEIR MUSIC IS CRAP!*
I'm a teenager and I hate that kind of music... How can people just spend their money or time to download their crappy songs?

Emo Bands do nothing, their music hardly makes any sense, and their lyrics are totaly crap!
btw, MCR sucks!
people have their own taste in music i luv all those bands and i like rap,pop and metal

I went to a Family Force 5 concert and they were everywhere
all they do is strum fast/out of tune riffs and whine in thier song
maybe if their were bands like there were in the 80's we wouldnt have this problem

Look...I like a few songs of FOB (3 songs) and P@TD (1 song- the only difference between suicide and martyrdom is press coverage) but I really dislike MCR. I'm not really into the Emo scene. Generally I more of an "any-branch-of-indie" lover. My friends have no idea about most of the bands i like, and i don't really care. you shouldn't either. love em or hate em, they'll just keep getting played until people get over them. speaking of which, Panic are just about due for a follow up album, right?
First, if you don't like a band or a bunch of bands, great. Leave them be.
As far as music that's umpopular, I grew up when the BeeGees, Quiet Riot and Freddie Pendergrass were all achin' for my dollar. And I was pretty equitable, actually. If it's good music, support it. If not, ignore it. But there's no use in whining about it. Hell, I preferred Miles Davis over all of them but he didn't get the airplay.
So get into what you're into, and leave the rest to others.
because its all just a trend. every one want to be different i guess, but when they look back at pictures from when they were a teenager theyre gonna feel stupid. im 17 and theres a lot of people i know that are emo. i personally, hate emos. their tight pants and haircuts annoy me. i hate any boy or guy that wears makeup
You know..I was just thinking that, too. Stop reading my mind, lol. (i've been a metal-head since i was in grade school *sigh*..some 20+ years ago lol)

Hey, everyone has their own music preferences. It's impossible that everyone can like the same music or like the same thing in life, anyway. It's alright if you don't like their music. I personally like MCR and I have my own opinions on them but since that's not your question, I will not say anything further except everyone has their own opinions.
Thats just your own opinion dude..just coz YOU dont like them..it doesnt make them crap - pfffft!
Who cares if I like emo and you hate it - how on earth is that going to have any affect on your life ??
Its just music and everyone is entitled to listen to what they want to without being criticized.

Luckily, I know for a fact that there're LOTS of teens out there who *aren't* buying FOB or MCR type bands & are embracing the classics from the 60s & 70s.
Take our own sarah c the Pink Floyd fan for instance....

Theyre not really emo bands but i personally dont like emos. They dont really have a life but everyone has an opinion i mean some people like one type of music and others like other types and it could goon forever. If everyone had the same taste in music then people would all be the same and thats jus wierd.

music is also about having fun when your making it i write song on my guitar with my friend who plays drums and we just have fun jamming, i dont really care about what our music sounds like! not like were gonna publish it!
