For a middle school.high school show, just pick something you know well and can sing well. Do you know something from the show? Pick that. Otherwise, anything you can really "sell" will be fine.
Edit: A lot of suggestions here imply you ought to "show off" and do something "impressive". I've been musical director for a lot of school shows, trust me, we don't want to see you "show off". Sing something you know well, that will help them the most.
