Do you use music to drown out the rest of the world?!

Question: I confess I do, at times.

Answers: I confess I do, at times.

I don't use music to drown out the rest of the world. I use it to enhance my world. Just listening to the lyrics and other people's view on the world is enough for me to sometimes see the lighter side of light and sometimes helps me appreciate what I've got. Sometimes the music I listen to is just feel good music, just to brighten my mood. Sometimes I listen to music that expresses my mood, and sometimes I listen just to pass the time. Whatever the case may be, music is a large part of my life, and I can't get enough of it. I like something from just about every genre that you can imagine. Right now my mp3 library has about 6,500 songs and is still steadily growing. I guess you could call me a music fanatic :D

I use music where appripriate, but I primarily use golf and exercise (weight lifting, running)

Yes, constantly, it makes me feel better. I love it. =)

Yes I do. It also relieves the physical pressure inside my head after a bad day.

Yes i sometimes need to so i can carry on coping

All the time.

Yes in fact I do. We cling to music, quotes, and sayings hoping someone else knows what we feel like. Music is confessions of the soul.

The beat of the music blocks out voices, sounds, and anything that could hurt us emotionally. Sounds of music whether its screaming boys telling us about how much they hurt, the soft sounds of girls explaining their own feelings about a boy.

Music is something we can all relate to, its our feelings in music. Our hearts crying out. Artists pour their heart and soul out on a song, to tell the world they are either sad, happy, excited, horny, mad, or confused. Everyone wants to be heard and in music you can be heard.

Either its the beat you can relate to, the lyrics, the voice or the background music in we all can somehow relate to each and every song.

Music is another reminder we are not alone in this world.

Oh I love music, music is something that can I really relate to. I associate a lot of memories, some sad but mostly good. There are just some songs that I ca close my eyes & listen to & just takes me back . I try to go to as mant concerts as possible & for that length of time, I can just forget about all of my problems. Take care , Debbie

Yeah, i have to admit i do, sometimes when i'm like really angry or something? But when i have to revise i drown out everything (probably not the best idea as i get no revision done) but hey, it makes me feel good!

That's the beauty of music, my friend.
