Question: if you know anything about merle haggard, then you know this man! he wrote blue jungle with merle haggard along with many,many more.. what a neat song that never got much attention, but i love it, he's been pretty sick lately with parkinson's but has gotten awhole lot better and has been back on the road with merle even on this years last of the breed tour..great man ans song writer.

Freddy Powers is a member of The Strangers and a dang good songwriter as well. Freddy is a nice man who could probably have done a lot more than he has but he is content travelling the highways with Merle and the boys.
