Question: Lately hip hop been getting the blame for everything & I don't think its right because its been getting a lot of negativity not just from the black community but across america.People don't understand that its just music & That rappers have the right to voice thiere opinion

Whoever doesn't like hip-hop better deal with it because it is not going nowhere. People are always trying to throw the blame on everything but the real problems. Do they really think that one type of music influences a whole country to make wrong choices. That's bullshit.
America always looks for a finger to point to and blame it on somebody else. Rock and roll went thru this when they owned the air waves.

Im just kidding...but there are much bigger problems in the world...and people who blame hip hop for the language they use or because it "creates violence" are ignorant... Yes...Some rappers are dumb as hell...but they can not represent a whole community of people...I love hip hop...but I do my own thing as a man...so the issues that we have here in the U.S. for the most part have nothing to do with hip hop.

Anything that promotes a lack of morals or values is not JUST music, that is a copout from someone that lacks maturity. However, it doesn't just apply to rap and hip hop music. There is a ton of vulgar television programs, movies, etc. Rap and hip hop has a culture that is not good (I am not saying all hip hop is bad, but a lot is) Anything that promotes killing cops, demeaning women, etc is not sending a positive message. You can like that or not, but it doesn't make it any less true. Research has shown that people's language evolves from things such as music. In other words, if you hear someone frequently speak improper grammar, you tend to talk that way. A study on small children showed that "angry" music contributes to their behavior.
