NO WAY (not even American). Bon Jovi are and always will be the greatest rock group ever, even for an "oldie" like me. Ever REALLY listened to Dry County? The Stones could NEVER have produced vocals or guitar work like that. I have seen these boys three times, have all their albums and could list examples for you from here to next Christmas. Stones? I think in terms of longevity and commercial success the nod would have to go to Aerosmith. I will give a little wink to Bon Jovi though. Still going strong. They do have a huge catalog too. I would hate to think that "Living on a Prayer" would be the signature song from the "greatest American Rock Band".
