Thanks okiefan,I'm writing this down right now..i must say that i'm so glad that i found this site..you guys are the best in keeping the legends out there.

Maybe you should be in the hall of fame for all your efforts!

I was in ''Reno Nev. a few years ago, before Johnny passed away. Any way we seen Johnny on stage, he put on one hell of a show.
After the show, we was walking around the casino, seen Johnny at a table he invited us over.He was a very nice man.
no i never heard of Marty Martel.

I am there with the letter. I think if more people were like you and fool 4 Tommy we would not have to worry about the legends living forever.

Does this include both living an deceased?
Thank you for the information.

Yes I do know Marty and have for some time. I think that fan response to future inductees to these two prestigeous institutions is way past due. I often thought that a committee of a handful of certain people was not near as good as all of their peers and a grouping of their fans could be. I also thought that a committee might just perhaps make decisions based on their favorites and not give the proper amount of weight to the persons entire contribution to country music therefore turning it into more of a political situation.

I urge everyone to give the matter some serious thought and write down the person you feel is worthy of such inclusion and submit it to the provided address. Please always remember you will get much farther if you are concise but not rude and demanding. When writing always be courteous and remember to thank them for allowing you to make a contribution in such a worthwhile endeavor. With that said let's all get to it.

Here is another address you can send your recommendations to but remember be nice and polite as that will do more good than making any demands.
