a singer, two guitarist, a bassist, a drummer, two "percussionists", a DJ, and a sampler........if you see them live...half the band is primarily for theatrics....hydraulic/bucking "drum" kits....boxing....general self mutilation....lol...really, its a rad show....you don't know where to look!

The Klown guy basically is an interpretive dancer, except he just throws and smashes things. He's my favorite for that reason. I've heard that the band kills a keg before each show and the Klown throws it around during the act.
Slipknot is F'ing HARDCORE! They are a bit like KISS and GWAR with the uniforms and masks, but they are far more musically inclined and they help keep what I know as true metal alive. That's why they are so popular and unlike other bands.
The band Stone Sour is a side project branching off of Slipknot.
Early versions of The Sims had Slipknot characters available to download into the game. It was funny having them walk around Simsville in their masks and jumpsuits when that game was still young.
