The video showed him split from his wife/gf. She had a new guy who acted abusive towards her and the son. The singer would get his son for visitation, they'd do dad and son stuff together, then the boy would have to get back in the car and leave him. Sad. (On a side note, I think the boy in the video was his real son.)
