Most vocal teachers will make you a better tenor. However, make sure you know the instructor's background and experience. You know that it is a rip off if they are just failing singers trying to make some cash. It also depends if you want a better choral voice or just better voice in general. If you want to improve your choral voice, get an vocal coach with lots of experience in that area. The more experienced, the better the teacher. Lessons usually range around 30 min. to a few hours, it all depends on what you want and what they can do. I recommend that you get a vocal coach because it will definitely be worth it.
Well if you are really gifted to sing.. all you need to do is to develop that talent. although am not a singer or tenor like you but i know how to appreciate music. he.. cheers
