I judged a singing contest about a month ago in Okinawa Japan.

Summertime: pretty good. It demonstrates your style.
Lean on me: sing out more. Make the songs personal and make me believe what you are singing.

On a scale of 1 to 10, I rate it an F.

went ta website and sound wasnt working sri

i think you have potential....not the best ive heard though but better than mine would ever be ill give you that!!

Wow! That was good, hun!

you kinda sound like a new age billy holiday. I give you an 8-10 keep working on maturing your voice and I'd say you've got a shot

Yeah, you have a good voice!!

very good you went a little fast on some parts. and you could ephsize more. but from 1 to 10 10 being the best i give you a -9!

i really liked it . i thought you Incorporated a good style for the song. that website is cool i need to try that because i love to sing too.

If you are the singer named M....e, wow! You should go on American Idol for sure. Thought you were great! If you are not that singer, sorry, that's where I ended up when I followed the link.

nice voice....you can sing that song to rock a newborn to sleep

stick to karaoke!!!i luv ur voice but not good enuf to be famous

You have the potential. Be careful of your diction. Never pronounce the word singing as sing-ging. There is after all only 1 g in there. Work on your rythym as in some places it was fast and others too slow. Don't be afraid! You have a lot of talent and courage. As a music teacher I would recommend that you lie on the floor sometime and sing! This will help you with your breathing and force you to sing from your diaphram and not from your throat sometimes when you sing low notes it comes more as a whisper and while you want to sing the lower notes you also want power in your voice. Lying on the floor will help with that!

Good luck!

I think that you a great voice. Fabulous actually, however, you were a bit pitchy and I did not believe you when you sang the lyrics. There was not enough soul deep down to support the actual song. You were doing beautiful with all of the embellishments but that has to come from the heart and not be so technical. Now for the technical aspect that has to come first before the soul... when you start your lyrics I appreciate that hoarse quality as you start the beginning of a phrase but you do it all too often and it sometimes causes you to be pitchy. You must practice your scales to train your throat to be tight on target each and every time even if you choose to start on a 1/4 tome for effect or jusst to hit it straight on (which there is nothing wrong with that, it show contrast). These are just my opinions.... and I hope that they help. You do not have to agree with me. I was a singer for the last 35 years of my life. I think that you are fabulous or I would not have bothered answering your question. Good Luck. and remember Audition, Audition, Audition and try to sit in with different bands in your local area. THey are always willing to let the pretty young ones show their wares. Also follow te advice of those above my answer that tell you to lie down a=on the floor and sing, you can put a dictonary on top of your diaphragm as well, and watch taht breathing, this will give you strength to support all of your notes. you will soar if you gain the strength. Relax and Feel it. Like a good dancer you must stretch and be technically right before you can do a routine. Iron out some of the technical aspects and then FEEL it. Pick songs that you can feel. i used to do Summertime but more like Ella would and go all over the place with it, have some fun and loosen up on it, Know the stiry of what you are saying and be Bess singing this song.

Your voice itself sounds good. However, your timing was off, and you were a bit pitchy on certain parts. You have a very nice richness to the voice, and a very nice vibrato. You should consider some vocal training, because it will help you to discover what your voice really is capable of. Don't give up because you really do have a nice voice. Also, the female voice doesn't completely mature until your early 30s, so you've got a long way to go before you really know what you can do with it.

You could also put more feeling behind your words. Good luck, and have fun!!

You know there is a website that lets you post clips to get ratings for your songs? Go to http://www.singersconnect.net/forums and click on "Rate My Singing"

They also have a Yahoo! Group: http://launch.groups.yahoo.com/group/sin...
