What is the most romantic piece of music written for the piano?!

Question: I would recommend Rachmaninoff's Musical Moments, Etudes, or Preludes or even his Vocalize (piano edition). Or something from Tchaikovsky's The Seasons.

who knew, you shock me frogme!

It would depend on how you define romantic?
Possibly something by Chopin or Liszt.

Well, if she plays classical piano then stay away from things like : Fur Elise. Moonlight Sonata and Pachelbel's Canon. She would proably already have these very popular pieces.

Have a snoop through her music and see what she already has. How good is she ?

If you mean romantic as is in love, I don't know. If you mean romantic as in the Romantic Period (which can be pretty romantic in the other way too), I'd have to say pretty much anything by Chopin. Also, the Schumann: Fantasiestucke is a lovely set of short pieces.

there are loads out there...
i've heard Brian Adam's "Heaven" being played alot on the piano at several weddings..thats a bit different
"Kissing you" - from Romeo and Juliet soundtrack

Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata and his Bagatelle in A minor "Fur Elise'.

ehem.. if your asking for what is the most romantic piece fpr piano then i'll go with pachelbel. His composition is one of the best. His piece "canon" is really great=>

I can only think of "Serenade" by Franz Schubert
