Check out Daphne Loves Derby! They just put out a new album earlier this year, called Good Night Witness Light, which I think is definitely their best so far. Every time I put it on it puts me into a good mood. Check out their songs "Cue The Sun," "A Year On An Airplane," and "Hopeless Love."

You might also like Meg & Dia. What I love about this band is that most of their songs are based off of books. For example, East Of Eden inspired the song "Monster." My favorite song by them is "Cardigan Weather," it's really good, but kinda morbid. It's about a girl who poisons her boyfriend and then sews him into a mattress after she finds out that he's been unfaithful.

Also give The Like a try. I saw them open for Muse a while ago, and they were fantastic live, so if you ever get the chance to see them, do it. They have few EPs out plus one album. My favorite songs are "Falling Away" and "June Gloom," but the whole album is pretty solid.
