Somebody explain to me how Jay-z has more than 2 classic albums?!

Question: Apparently, ppl here in the RHH section think Jay-z has 3 classics......Reasonable Doubt, yes. Blueprint, yes..But the Black Album? GTFOH........maybe im the only one who thinks this, but if you think Black Album is a classic, give a brief explanation to shed me some light. or if you agree w/ me, that Jay-z only has 2 classic albums

He gots way more than 3 albums...but no more then 2 classics... I really liked the Blueprint and I still dont know if I consider it a classic (thats just me though)...To be honest, I liked Dynasty a little more...but like I said thats just me...

Justify my thug...that was a terrible song on the Black Album...

His Own Studio Albums...

1996: Reasonable Doubt

1998: Vol. 2... Hard Knock Life
1999: Vol. 3... Life and Times of S. Carter
2000: The Dynasty: Roc La Familia
2001: The Blueprint
2002: The Blueprint2: The Gift & the Curse
2003: The Black Album
2006: Kingdom Come
2007: American Gangster

Collaborations...
1998: Streets Is Watching (with Various Artists)
2002: The Best of Both Worlds (with R. Kelly)
2004: Unfinished Business (with R. Kelly)
2004: Collision Course (with Linkin Park)

i wrote that.

i believe that "Black Album", was really good, maybe not as good as blueprint and reasonable doubt.

but just look at the tracklist.

Lucifer
Dirt Off Your Shoulder
99 PROBLEMS
Moment Of Clarithy
Encore..

there is not even 1 bad song on the whole album

i guess people don't know what classics are i have Black Album and it is good but its not a classic

I agree to an extent, i think the black album to jay z is what god's son was to nas. But people throw the word classic around too much these days. It wasn't a classic, it was a near classic. He was steering towards reasonable doubt, but he missed. And the whole jay/pharrell period annoyed the hell out of me. 99 problems and threat were the only songs i could replay without getting bored.

Black Album was at near classic status. 4 and 3 quarter mics. Allure was the track that really slowed that LP down and denied it classic status

this 1 goes to tha 1st comment kingdom come.... u mean kingdom done that **** was garbage.lol & the black album had a few tracks that r classic but not tha whole album december 4th was hot P.S.A, ONE MOMENT OF CLARITY, dirt off my shoulders, encore, change clothes & my1st song(which was the best song on it) it was close but allure wasnt lookin good

there is not doubt in my mind that the black album was a classic
( I define a classic as it stays in my Cd player all the time/ I never get sick of it/ it never gets played out)

The only track that I didn't like was Change Clothes
but the rest of it was fire

It falls inline right behind the Blueprint (#2) and Reasonable Doubt (#1) just like these two the whole body of works correlates

actually, I think that he had two classics, they were RD and In my lifetime vol. 1....I reallyd wasn't too big on the blueprint...

jay only got like 3 albumz, Black album is fiya, kingsom come was pretty good,. I think blu magic a classic
