Nas- His delivery and lyricism is matched by no one alive, he made arguably the greatest hip hop album of all time (illmatic) and has since then delivered 4 classic albums, he's one of the greatest artists of all time, the last of a dying breed (REAL hip hop artist)..being the best rapper doesnt mean "being able to rap off of any beat", you have to have good lyrical content, delivery, voice, songwriting, work amount, work quality, longevity, overall impact, and classic albums..nas has Naall of the above plus more...he knows its not all about the women and the money, but instead he looks to himself and God for help....you have to respect that

back to answering the question: i think lil wayne is just because i love his music personally . he's a great lyricist and has a great voice . he's also a great entertainer . he get's the crowed hyped up and he loves hip hop for what it is .
