What local artists are hot in your city?!


Question: i'm from boston and i am a big fan of the local hip hop scene here. we have a lot of very talented artists who i'd much rather listen to than the mainstream crapola that's on the airwaves these days.

but i feel like i'm so focused on boston hip hop that i'm not really checking for other cities as much as i used to . give me some names, myspace links, etc, of local artists that you like.

Actually Houston is famous for chopped and screwed, but we still do have many rappers.

    i'm from texas and in my city we don't really have any good rappers, but you should check out z-ro he's a rapper from houston.
    The Minneapolis scene is always new and progressive:
    Atmosphere, Brother Ali, Eyedea, Los Nativos, P.O.S., I Self Divine...
    Hurricane Chris, Lava House, and 5 Entertainment are all representing the 318 part of Shreveport, La
