"REAL" Hip-Hop Heads ONLY!!! Best of the decade in NYC?!

Question: What albums in your opinion are the best hip-hop albums of this decade from New York outside Jay-Z and Nas? Think about this really hard and make sure they were released this decade from the year 2000-Now, 1999 is not this decade. I’m talking about timeless conscious lyrics, timeless dope conscious beats that can touch your emotions. Please don’t mention 50 Cent either as Get Rich and Die tryin’ and the Massacre are far from classics, evident by the lackluster unconscious lyrics.

One of my all time favs of this decade is Hi Teknology, by Hi Tek (2001)
& Train of Thought by Talib Kweli (2000)

cant really tell u that ...cos this decade hasnt end yet...still lots to come n i bet they gon be better ones...but for now....id say Jin's albums......t-pain , ying yang twins n akon....but i can definitely tell u that the best mc or freestyle mc battler ever is Jin from NYC & from Miami & from HK. Hes the real shite....his achievement is astonishing for n hes a man of respect too.....hes lyrics got meaning ..stands up for his men.

Good? Big pun -yeeeeah baby only thing sparks my mind

I liked De La Soul's ...The Grind Date...2004...

Pete Rocks...Soul Survivor II...2004

And Buttery B's answers too of course..

Hey BB...Are you a teacher???

Quality--Talib Kweli....Louis Logic--Sin-i-matic....fishscale (do I get to count that?) & Supreme clientele....Masters of the univers--Binary star...um....Total Eclipse--Black moon.... The chosen few--boot camp click....

I'm tired, that all I got for now...

The Hunger For More - Lloyd Banks

"you gotta blast me yo, coz the louisville will have yo head lookin like the top of a pistachio"

"were respected highly, coz you aint gotta practice gymnastics to catch a body"

You gotta feel Banks on this album....his recent stuff hasnt been anything near this unfortunately :(

Lemme know what you think :]

I'm not giving myself enough time to really dwell and I'm wishing I could say Black Star, but that's the '90's...so..."Labor Days" by Aesop Rock, "Pretty Tony" by Ghostface, anything Doom has put out, "Quality" by Talib Kweli, "I'll Sleep When You're Dead" by El-P, and probably a lot the I'm leaving out.
