Any Grateful Dead recordings out with really good covers of famous bands, like T!

Question: I have a few Bob Dylan and am trying to find some other artists who they are able to get really creative with. Thanks in advance.

There are no studio recordings of any covers, exsept for Good lovin'.

There is an official release of a Traffic song, Dear Mr. Fantasy, on the CD Without a Net. Its a live recording.

There is also a live recording of Paul McCartney's Meet You in the Pouring Rain, on Dick's Picks (the one from Boston in the early 1990's.).

There is a recorded performance of the Rolling Stones, I Used to Love Her on the Dick's Picks show from 1978.

The dead did play the Beatles song, Tomorrow Never Knows in 1993 at concerts.
The Dead also covered Satisfaction in the later years.

i know of about 100 cover songs but no grateful dead sorry.

The Dead were not a cover band.

i think your best bet would be to search the Dick's Picks collection. these would be the highest quality albums available unless you know someone who recorded a lot of shows. the great thing about Dick's Picks is that they span almost the entire life of the band. i am not sure how many cover songs it includes, though...
