What would you have told Pete Fisher had you been in Stonewall's Jackson'!

Question: In Stonewall Jackson's 10 million dollar law suit for age discrimination against the Grand Ole Opry.

Jackson claims his appearances on the show declined after Fisher was hired in 1998. Jackson said he approached Fisher on several occasions and was told, “I don’t want any gray hairs on that stage or in the audience, and before I’m done there won’t be any,” and, “You’re too old and too country.”

TOO COUNTRY FOR THE OPRY??? Wait, let me get this straight... um, ah, well, um, NOPE. I GOT NOTHIN'.

If I were Stonewall Jackson, I'd have gathered my composure, told that little jackass that he was going to have gray hair as soon as the lawsuit was over, and called my attorney. Oh, wait, that's just about in a nutshell what Jackson did.

But... TOO COUNTRY FOR THE OPRY??? That, my friend, is what's WRONG with today's Country music.

I WOULD TELL THAT SHRIMP...."EVERY PUPPY HAS IT'S DAY..EVERYBODY HAS TO PAY....EVERYBODY "WILL" MEET HIS WATERLOO!!!!

See ya in court Fisherman.

i agree with okiefan...that loooooser will meet his waterloo in a dark alley in nashville behind the opry and boy, he'll never know what or who hit him!

To be quite honest I probably would have lost my restraint and decked him. Who the hell are these people and where do hey come from? TO COUNTRY FOR THE OPRY. The opry is country.
