Need tips on how to be a fast violinist and reading notes?!
Question: I can't exactly move across strings like im going to open D with 3 fingers down.. to open E. then back again. And I can't do that.. is there any tips or something. I also have a hard time reading notes like.. i can tell the first line on the staff and in the space but after that i get all spaced out.

At first, you should write down the notes on the lines. Then, practice one mildly difficult song and keep playing it over and over again. With that one song, you can learn great speed and agility on how to move your fingers and where. If it works for me, then it will work for you.
