Why is rap fallen so hard in the past 10 years?!
Question: Because only a few rap about the real issues anymore. Like it was said earlier, a lot of rappers only rap about money, women, sex, drugs, etc. Honestly, I don't wanna hear that. Don't get me wrong, there are a lot of rappers that I listen to that I love! But now rap is centered around the wrong things. 10 years ago, rap was the hardest music out. It was real, it was original.

Rap songs are still good..i love the beats but now the only thing they talk about are women...and just very unoriginal things..every song is like every other song.
But i still love rap music!
After the death of Tupac and Biggie rap just got stupid. The dirty south took over and now everything is just some noise
Because rap sucks.

Rap music has fallen so hard because the record companies continue to allow any and everyone to get recording deals. The rappers are weak with no game, the subject content is the same (e.g. how much money, how many women, blah, blah, blah), and the music is just tired.
As a child of the 80's, I'm greatly disappointed with the direction rap music heads.
While I'm not an aficionado of rap I think that it is like most music.... it follows its own cycle. Soon there will be something new and in style and people will flock to that new venue. It appears that rap has a following and only time will tell if it can stand the test of time and will cycle back in or go the way of say.... disco.
it hasnt fallen but triped because there r ppl out there who complains bout our music bein bad and they forget bout the possitive music, but wat bout rock and other music that r worst than ours but no one complains
rap has fallen so hard because all they talk about is how rich they are and what they got(cars,money, hoes, etc.) and there isn't a lot of good lyricist around anymore and the good ones that are around are not getting that much attention. Rappers will rap about what young people want to hear because they know that they're their biggest audience, and the more people buy their stuff, the more they are going to rap bout cars, money, and hoes.
