Why are girls so tolerant of Rap Music that promotes violance against Women?!

They're girls and not women. They're just listening to the beat and not hearing the lyrics. Their pretty little heads are full of "Do I look good dancing to this song?" and never stop to consider what "values" (or lack of values) the song is promoting.
Girls are usually self-centered, stupid creatures while WOMEN actually have brains and use them. Women do not like Rap Music that promotes violence, whether it's against women, children, men, dogs, cats or alien pod people.

There not portrayed well in *some* music videos, and are treated as objects in *some* songs, but theres not much violence towards them in hiphop.

I understand what you're saying. Yeah it saddens me and pisses me off that some women (and girls) either are too pre-occupied to care, or are impressionable to thuggish looking types or very naive and unawares of how misogynistic these fools be.

Well like I said before Im not any of the women these guys degrade on a rap song(AND PLEASE TELL ME A SONG ABOUT RAPING WOMEN AND HITTING THEM, BESIDES the Immortal Technique song) I dont listen to songs that talk about raping women but I have heard some rap songs that said they'll slap a b*tch or h*e...I mean I cant really get mad at those rappers who make that type of music when women are out shaking their tails and prostituting, how am I SUPPOSE TO STAND UP FOR THOSE WOMEN WHO DONT WANT TO BE BOTHERED...I know Im a classy female and guys know it when they see me, so they dont call me a b*tch or a H*e...I feel those are just words and if the shoe fits the person then why not wear it...AND THE SAME GOES FOR GUYS, women call guys out their name, and I know I do, if the guy is acting a certain way then YEAH WHY NOT lol
Because women now days have no self-esteem. That's the generation who will grow up to be shacked up with some wife-beater.
Some of us don't give a crap about what music says....or what they show us doing on TV, or how stupid we are in horror movies....because is it all just THAT....music, TV, and Movies! Not real! We have enough self esteem not to listen to, or watch that garbage. Most of us aren't aware of such junk until it's brought up by someone else, making a big deal about it. We educated, intelligent, confident women don't bother listening to that.
Freedom of Speech is why it's tolerated....but we don't have to listen.

Because the same people that tolerate when a rappers says- On your knees...Woman----Also tolerate it when a rapper says- I'm gonna get me a piece & pop you in the head, fool ----- Also tolerate it when a rapper says- Aint nothing wrong with smoking dope or doing coke.......I guess I also miss the important artistic connection too ? Maybe that's what makes some rappers pimps & gangstas ???
It's probably related to why women like bad boys instead of nice guys. Never underestimate the stupidity of women. Or men, I guess, but in different ways.
