More and more people are starting to listen to younger rappers like Lil Boosie, Piles,Rich Boy and others.Most people that use to listen to Nas and buy his CD's are starting to stray away from rap music and it's har for him to connect to the young fans out there so he doesnt get the sales he use to.Plus more and more people just burn cd's instead of buying them.

Your Crazy "Hip Hop Is Dead" Is Probably The Best Hip hop Album of 2006 and if it's not then its Food & Liquor As good as the album is, nothing here is on that next level. But, Hip-Hop Is Dead is close enough to a classic and Nas' best album after Illmatic. I mean, if some consider Get Rich or Die Tryin' a classic, Hip-Hop Is Dead is Illmatic exponentially to the 99th level. This album is sick. You have to really listen to it to like it. Listen to every word, understand what he is saying. I dont think anybody does that anymore. People first listen to the beats before the lyrics and then judge the song. But that said Nas does improve on his beats immensely.
Hip Hop is dead is tight but the problem wit Nas is that no one gets excited when he's about to drop an album thats why he's trying to become more controversial now but is it too late?
