Can you help me with my singing?!
Question: Whenever I sing, I get a tickle in my throat, and I often end up coughing. What could be causing this? Could it be my technique or could my sinus drainage be causing this?

It is because you are singing from you throat... You sing from your diaphram.
Honey, you breathe like babies do... first from the stomach... then to the lungs (inhale) then (exhale).
Are you sick?
If so then that may be the answer to your problem.
Eat a teaspoon of honey before you sing and see how that goes... Honey is used to smoothen your throat.

Also remember your throat is a muscel. One which you have to work out with scales. You know: Do Re Mi Fa So La Ti Do.

Ermm maybee your ill love. Orr you arnt getting enough air while you singg. Justt remember to breatthh
temprorary cold...don't worry...some singers have a very recognizable voice...with a voice like that so will yours...
drink lots of water and to get you vocul cord things warmed up just make funny noises for about a min and you`ll be singing like an angel lol
Any remedy can help with your vocal chords. Remedies for your voice such as mint, licorice and ginger are the common ingredients. Also, you will always drink ginger or mint tea to soothe your voice.
It is possible that your technique is inadequate. You must learn how to breathe properly and how to utilize your vocal muscles when singing. Also, follow advices from previous answers and it should help.
