Worst/best use of a quality rock song in an ad?!

Question: Is the use of ELP in a Dr Pepper ad good or bad? Give me your examples!

Bad: Iggy Pop's "Lust for Life" for Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines.

Next time I'm on a posh cruise I'm going to ask where Johnny Yen is...

I guess it's such a bizarre fit because the song makes me think of Trainspotting and drug use... not watching a Vegas-style show in the ship theater.
If I hear "I Melt With You" in one more food ad, I'm gonna scream! Such a good song, so sad it came to peddling fast food!
no because Dr. pepper is not a good product
These are some of my favourites :~

Albatros ~ Peter Green's Fleetwood Mac
Samba Pa Ti ~ Santana
{Marks & Spencer food}

Itchicoo Park ~ The Small Faces
We're the Monkees ~ The Monkees
{Marks and Spencer clothes}

She's A Rainbow ~ The Rolling Stones {Sony Bravia TV}
I always hated the Led Zeppelin Cadillac ad..

I like the ad with ELO's "Hold on Tight" - can't quite remember - I think it's for Mazda..
I hate listening to The Transplants, and hearing a girl say "that's the song from the fruitease (sp?...the shampoo) commercial." Ugh

I liked the use of the Caesars in the older IPOD commercials though.
The worst one I ever heard was a radio ad for Coral Windows. They used that old soul song that everyone loves (I think by Ben E. King), 'Stand By Me', but changed the chorus to:

"Well, I won't be afraid,
No I won't be afraid
So long as Coral stands by me."

It was awful....I mean, really sickening. And why the hell would you want your double glazing company to stand by you anyway? What kind of sense does that make?
I dig Cadillac's use of "Stars" by HUM in their new ads. I've always liked that song.

Edit: oh yeah! A bad one: A chick version of Twisted Sisters' "We're Not Gonna Take It" for a birth control commercial. Really, Dee Snider?
I hate it when they get a really lame cover of a song by The Beatles and stick it in a commercial for a TV or a car or something. Right now Target has an awful version of "Hello Goodbye." ...Thanks a lot Michael Jackson. >:(
Revolution to sell Nike shoes. John probably turned over in his grave
I am a huge Zeppelin fan and I must say that I actually did like the use of " Rock N Roll" in the Cadillac ad campaign. However, use of the 80's tune "I Melt With You" for taco bell is kinda...well...cheesy!!!
