Answers: Here in Chi-town hip hop has a HUGE following. When I was in high school (mid 90's) half the school was hip hop heads including myself. But that was a whole other era, but it still lives on. There's also a huge underground hip hop movement in Chicago.

here in the philippines most of the teens here love rocksongs. only few listen to hip hop

If your talking about real hip-hop like that illmatic kind of stuff, then theres only like 1 other guy, besides myself, I know around my town that listens to that stuff.

There are few groups of people who listen to this music in my city. People think of them as they are junkies and alcoholics... Nowadays it's good to be a fake doll and to listen to pop music (all types of it). I've been called names just because I go to this bar where the music they play is real hip hop.

As for the whole country (Bulgaria) people are not so familiar with the real sounding of hip hop. There are many who listen to it, live the life of it but still they are not a majority.

As I said, fake dolls and pop music, that's what you are going to find here 0_o
