Do mentally challenged people realize that normal people are not nice, friendly !
Question: Since your challenging my mental condition, and your question is asked in the Rap and Hip-Hop section, I personally can let you in on a theory of mine... I think Rappers and Hip-Hop people admire the mentally challenged.. You would be amazed if you knew how much great poetry has come outta mental hospitals... People under the influence of medication or people with severe psychosis tend to think out some kick *** stuff!
But in general, I think mentally challenged people have a totally different attitude then what "normal" people have.. Whatever "normal" is... I think mentally challenged people often are more honest and in touch with themselves then what the average Joe is. And if you ask me, that's a quality we all can learn from.. Don't you think?
To many people these day's are very egoistic.. And some people I believe has to many greed demons in them and their look on life is clouded.. So to finish my little answer here, I personally believe there are no normal "not nice or friendly" people cape able off keeping it 100% real

No they dont...this is part of their Challenge.

I don't know, but wouldn't it be nice if we all were as nice as mentally challenged people? I have often thought how these people lead simple, precious lives. Oh that we all might be as kind as some of these wonderful people are.
Most of them have encountered the rudeness of people who do not understand, and while it hurts them, they have learnt to ignore it for the most part.
These rude people are a very small percentage of "normal" people, and most others are very caring, and decent to them.
I work with special Olympians, and see what happens, and how they react.
The mentally challenged are some of our most vulnerable citizens. Most 'normal' people are nice, in ideal situations. Of course, there are many uneducated people out there who don't see people who are developmentally challenged as real people. They see the disability first. People who find humour in mocking and disrespecting anyone, whether they have a disablitiy or not, are the truly mentally challenged.
I think that if they get out and about enough, they do realize this. Just as children realize not all people are nice, why wouldn't they? But if they are always surrounded by love, comfort, and support, they may think everyone in the world behaves this way. And it's a shame that more of us aren't nice and friendly to all people we meet!!
