Answers: OWEN BRADLEY
MERLE HAGGARD
TOMMY COLLINS
HARLAN HOWARD
BILL ANDERSON
MAX D. BARNES
Gee, that's a toughie...of the ones listed, I'd have to give the nod to Harlan Howard.

Why didn't you list Hank Williams Sr or Cindy Walker, though?
Now you know my answer is going to be Tommy Collins, but I will have to give a resounding second vote to the late Max D. Barnes. His list contains some of the greatest songs ever and I do mean ever written. You just can't beat the greatest.
Wow!! I' m going to have to say the "hag" because his songs were'nt just songs, they were telling his life story! That's one of the reasons he is the legend he is.
Harlan Howard, He's written songs for many an entertainer in the buisness. "I Fall To Pieces"..."Life Turned Her That Way"..."Above And Beyond"... "I've Got a Tiger By The Tail"... "Don't Tell Me What To Do"..."Somebody Should Leave"..."Somewhere Tonight"..."Too Many Rivers"... "Why Not Me"..."Busted" "Blame It on Your Heart"...and so many more.
I think ol' Harlan Howard might just take this one. He's put out some darn good stuff over the years.
Merle Haggard of course.
Hag hands down.
add Hank Williams
Harlan Howard
Bill Anderson
