Answers: Yeah so I'm sorta broke and I want o know if its possible to to make my singing voice sound better without lessons. Please let me know!!

Yes it is . Do the following.

First find out what your perfect range is. It must not be too low or too high. Look for one song that you like in that range, and practice it.
Next try your pitch. Are you hitting all the notes straight on.
If you have a piano hit between the two C's and keep hitting one particular note over and over, either reaching up to it if you have to, or reaching lower. If you don't have a piano, pick a phrase in the song that you like and listen to your voice outside of your head,not just at the music.
ARTICULATE! This means over pronounce the words so that you mouth is open and the sound comes out, without shouting. This brings out emotion of the words and also helps with the breathing.
Go on the net and look for pictures of where your diaphragm is and learn to breath from that area. This is wherall all good singers breath.
Also take deep breths, slowly in slowly out this will relax.
Then you have done all this start singing this particuar song to friends and take constructive criticism but not negative.
I have been a voice teacher for many years have never found one person that could not be taught how to sing. If YOU have the desire to sing - SING. There is nothing more wonderful than music.

Practicing infront of ppl and alone
Opening up and singing loudly rather than quietly and soft.
DONT sing like Vanessa Hudgens, alot of people do not like her. AKA don't be so soft and baby sounding.

I must say bravo maureen (sorry if spelled wrong). He should get best! Anyways, listen to that one, he knows what he is talking about. I have never taken a singing lesson in my life, did it all myself and am complimented on how well I sing constantly. Good luck!
