Answers: Dont really know much about drus, but I'm interested in playing. Does anyone know where to get good drums sets and like good comapnies, and the good places to get them. Also, try to make it no that expensive. thanks!

Get a used drumset for your first one. Stay away from "starter kits" wich suck and youll probably end up replacing them fast. For brands try mapex. Cant think of any others. You can buy them on ebay, craigslist, or if youve got the $ any music store. Dont buy the cheapest set, because it will suck and come out more expensive in the end. But dont buy the most expensive either, because you have to play for a while before you can get a feel for the drums you like, and you might just not like the drums and quit.

Pearl drums are the best, however they can get quite expensive. Most famous drummers have them. But another inexpensive but high quality set would is Dynamic Percussion.

If you really get into playing, you will have to buy more symbols which can get really expensive, but very good brands are Sabian and Zildjian.

First for cymbals...all I ever used or owned in the past was
PAISTE. As for drums, I used to have 2 Tama kits..the rockstar and the superstar. The superstar was nice.
But now...I'm thinking of getting a new DDRUM kit for my next kit. They are cheap, with good quality shells on them.
I've heard the ASH kits are dynamite because they are loud like oak shells. so check em out

You cant go wrong with Paiste cymbals. I'm drummer of 20 years dude. I will always be a Paiste man no matter what....=)
